Okay, hi guys! This is going to be where I write my randoms thougths and reviews on Breaking Dawn. I'm pretty sure I'll be finished by mid day tomorrow (Sunday, August 3) and I bought it...so..I'll be updating as I go. Hopefully, if any of you finish it as well, we'll be able to discuss. For now...all I have to say is...

I LOVED Edward’s reaction to her pregnancy! It was so human-ish. Lol, he just froze, like any guy would, if they stay that long.
The whole book started out corny. The wedding was extra corny, but I was lovin’ Jake’s appearance and his reaction. At that point I would have loved to be in his perspective.
Then the honeymoon (at least now we know where Edward got the extravagant gift giving thing from, lol) the Isle of Esme was cute. Carlisle’s awesome. It was hilarious how Edward destroyed furniture and she didn’t notice. I was like…Bella…I don’t think he’s THAT good. The feather’s were cute (I bit a pillow…or two.)
Then the pregnancy…I really didn’t think SM would go there, especially not so soon. Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse all had the high points of the novel at the end of the novel.
First, I'll say I loved Breaking Dawn. It started out good, she kept the action up and it was tension filled to the end. I had few complaints. And now i'll list them! lol.
I liked Bella in Breaking Dawn, I can't I liked her a lot more because I wasn't really a big fan of her in the first place, but I liked her. This may have been because I got a break from her point of view in the middle of it when everything switched the Jake's perspective, who knows. But, the tiny thing that irked me was…you could tell there was a slight deviation from Bella's personality. It may be attributed to character growth, I don't know.
There were a lot of character deviations actually, Jake was more masochistic than Edward, Edward was emo then self-loathing, then cheery, Bella lost her clumsiness, Rosalie was NICE
I was REALLY, REALLY looking forward to that final battle (that never came L ).
I thought Billy was going to end up with Sue because there was more of a romantic development between them than Sue and Charlie.
Who is Embry’s dad? I don’t think it’s Sam. I think it’s either Quil or Jake. Quil and Embry are best friends and that may be because of their familial connection, but then he’s friends with Jake too, to the point of leaving Sam’s pack for Jake, so Jake might be his brother. Who knows? No one! Because she never answered the question, lol.
Ahh..I’m tired, I’ll do an indepth analysis later. I got my fix with talking to Light for 2hrs so, I’m a little drained. My thought’s will be more organized later *promise* |
